Chais's solo booth presentation at VOLTA featured an installation of new paintings, videos, sound compositions, sculptures and new media works.

 

Chais makes work that deals with society's overwhelming exposure to electronic imagery and our absorption into the virtual world of social media and self-publishing.

 

 

Her works blur the lines between seduction and destruction appropriating ancient and modern tropes in search of a future aesthetic.
